Lightest Double Stroller
When looking for a lightweight double-stroller that folds, the dimensions and weight are key factors to consider. When you are not using it, select a stroller that is easy to handle and compact. This will allow it to put it in your car trunk and navigate through airport gates and international roads.
The best lightweight strollers feature a light, intuitive fold and self-standing mechanism that helps reduce the strain on parents' bodies. Several also have a wide range of seating configurations and can accommodate infant car seat carriers.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
Designed for families that are on the move. Lightweight, with a simple one-hand compact fold. All-terrain wheels with front suspension, as well as a multi-position reclining seats can allow children to weigh up to 50 pounds. The tray for parents and kids and a large storage basket and a 3-tiered canopy with the peekaboo window offer maximum sun protection.
The Cloud scored one of the lowest scores in our quality tests due to the fact that it has a flimsy seat made of hard plastic and a design that feels dated. It's also more expensive than other strollers that are lighter. This makes it a poor option for parents looking for an affordable option.
Although it's not the tiniest double stroller, it comes with enough features worth considering. Its swiveling wheels make it easy to maneuver it on flat surfaces. It also allows you to jump curbs with ease. The Cloud's low handle is a problem but it's at knee height and not adjustable. It's uncomfortable to push your legs dangling in the air like that, and it doesn't help that it's not cushioned.
During our testing and testing, we discovered the Cloud to be easy to open and set up. It's a little more difficult to close, however. You have to slide a slider before you press a large white button to cause it to collapse. This can be frustrating especially if you're juggling kids while doing it.
The Cloud has a small, but deep storage basket that can be used to fit a medium-sized diaper bag. The basket is narrow, and you may need to store something inside to reach the back. The Cloud comes with two tray for parents and a child tray each with two cup holders. Both are too small for larger bottles or cups.

The visors are adjustable to accommodate kids of different heights. Additionally, it comes with one-step linked parking brake and is Disney-size approved.

It does have a nice, three panel sun canopy, though, and each seat has its own snack tray as well as cup holders for parents.

Another incredibly lightweight side-by-side stroller is the Valco Baby Snap Trend. It's a bit heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus at 23 lbs, but it's amazingly narrow and slim (26.5 inches wide!) and comes with a lot of elegant features that make it perfect for travel. It has a super simple fold, is extremely maneuverable and can be tucked away in trunks and overhead compartments of airplanes easily.
The Joovy Kooper X2 tri-folds and is ultralight, like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double or Mountain Buggy Nano Duo. It's similar to Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS but has a few key distinctions. It's a little more expensive, but has a better sun canopy and better maneuverability. It comes with a handy carrying strap and can accommodate kids weighing up to 44 pounds in one seat.

It can be transformed from a baby stroller into an adult stroller by attaching the car-seat adapters (sold separate) and is suitable for children ages 6 months and up.
Another thing to take note of about this stroller is that it only operates on swivel wheels, and doesn't come with locking options, so it might not be the best option for rocky or sloping terrain. It's still a great option for families of all sizes, since it is easy to maneuver on smooth surfaces as well as smooth surfaces.

Joovy Kooper X2
The Kooper X2 double stroller is an excellent option for parents looking for a light double stroller that can hold two kids. Its sling-style seats are comfortable and provide the same amount of headroom. It also allows kids to sit side-by-side. In contrast to other strollers that are side-by-side this one Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat that is a great option for napping. Its recline mechanism is simple to operate, but it doesn't go really flat. Kids who are taller might find they have a leg that hangs out of the way when sitting in the reclined position. It also has a huge canopy, which we found to be more effective in blocking sun than some other options in our top double strollers review.
The stroller is lightweight enough to be able to navigate through door frames. tandem double stroller was an important issue with other strollers we tried. It folds easily and its handlebars sit close to the ground, making it easy carrying. The only downside is its limited storage space. When it's full of toys for kids it can feel cramped.

This includes how easy it is to fold and set up, how easy it is to adjust the safety harness and how to open and close brakes. We also carry and lift the folded walkers like they would be placed in a trunk and how to put in and remove a infant car seat if applicable. We also evaluated the durability and strength of the stroller, as well as whether the strollers have an adult tray that can accommodate both child trays.
